Without A Rope

Today, I am going to do this without a rope.

At some point I have to let go,

And trust this will happen,

Work out,

Leaving it in your hands.

But I so love my rope,

I can pull it in,

And let it out,

According to my desires,

Seemingly in control.

No, it has to go.

I need to say “I surrender to your will”,

Leaving my heart in your hands,

Saying the biggest YES I can muster.

And accepting the way forward.

Which will become clear if I let go.
