Dark House on the Hill

The dark house on the hill sits aloof and apparently proud,

Holding it’s many secrets in nooks and crannies,

Or hidden rooms,

Seemingly obscured from view.

Yet, inside the rooms of the mansion,

Turmoil reigns,

Not understanding why,

But being observed.

And keep the house silent,

So others won’t complain to the neighbors.

And all will appear well in Happyville.
